ci: scan all three languages, and fix the docs that still say main is v4
CodeQL is back, covering what v5 actually ships. v4's workflow scanned Python because v4 was a Python project; v5 is three — the service in Python, the media sidecar in Go, the console in TypeScript — and a scan covering one of them reports a clean bill of health for two thirds of the code it never read. security-extended rather than the default set, because this project's whole job is fetching URLs somebody else supplied and the extra SSRF and injection queries are the ones that caught the v4 crawlers. It runs on main and pull requests but not on release: that branch is a fast-forward of a commit main already scanned. The weekly run is the part that earns its keep — most findings arrive because the queries changed, not the code, and a repo that only scans on push hears about them whenever somebody next happens to edit a file. The documentation had gone stale in two directions. Branch layout: 16-contributing said "v5 lives on the v5 branch, main still holds V4" and told people to `git checkout v5`, which now checks out nothing. Replaced with what is actually there — three branches, what each is for, that main and v4 share no ancestor so there is no cherry-picking between them, and that pushing to main does not publish an image. Roles: adding the demo role updated 15-security and nothing else, so four other pages still said "three roles" and printed a ladder without it. 09-users-and-api-keys now has the four-role table including what demo may reach, why it ranks below viewer, and that it cannot be assigned by hand. 04-concepts, 11-api and 17-faq have the ladder. All 17 zh/en pairs still match on headings and tables, and no relative link is broken. |
