# Description
MigrationAnalyzer-generated `<Type>Collection` shims were emitted as
`internal`, which breaks consumers exposing these types in public APIs
during migration. This change makes generated shims `public` while
preserving `[Obsolete]` + `UA0002` guidance.
- **Generator output access level**
- `MigrationGenerator` now emits:
- `public sealed [Obsolete] class <Name>Collection : List<TElement>`
- No behavior changes to element-type resolution, deduplication, or
diagnostics (`MIG01`).
- **Targeted generator test updates**
- Updated assertions in `MigrationGeneratorTests` to validate `public
sealed class ...` output for:
- well-known overrides,
- semantic lookup for model types,
- semantic lookup for built-in and primitive element types.
- **Migration docs alignment**
- Updated migration analyzer docs to reflect public shim generation and
removed outdated internal-only guidance.
```csharp
[global::System.Obsolete("... (UA0002)")]
public sealed class Int32Collection : global::System.Collections.Generic.List<int>
{
public static implicit operator global::Opc.Ua.ArrayOf<int>(Int32Collection? value)
=> value is null ? default : value.ToArrayOf();
}
