# Description #4677 was meant for `release/2.0` but was merged into `master`. Since then, `master`'s `version.json` has been the stable `2.0.0`. This PR moves `master` to `2.0.1-preview.{height}`. Its builds then sort above the `2.0.0` release and stay on the preview channel. - **`version.json`**: `"version"` `2.0.0` → `2.0.1-preview.{height}`. `versionHeightOffset` stays `0`. - **`preview-version.props`**: `PreviewPackageBuildNumber` stays `200`, matching `release/2.0`. It only applies when the root version is stable, so it has no effect on `master`.
