Colby Mchenry c65f9bb7eb fix(extraction): a build folder inside src/ is indexed for its Go and C# files too (#2687)
A folder named build below src/ was indexed only for its TypeScript, JSX,
Vue, Svelte and Astro files, so Go's own src/go/build package, a
module's src/build/version.go or a .NET solution's src/Build project
stayed out of the graph. Go and .NET toolchains never write source into
a build folder (their output is binaries, bin/ and obj/), so .go and .cs
files there are hand-written and now indexed as well.

Rust waits: its name matching doesn't yet keep a private item to its own
module, so indexing dioxus's src/build/patch.rs, which declares a private
type Result, moved 158 Result references off the crate's own alias. A
test pins .rs as still excluded.

Starlight Starter Kit: Basics

Built with Starlight

npm create astro@latest -- --template starlight

🚀 Project Structure

Inside of your Astro + Starlight project, you'll see the following folders and files:

.
├── public/
├── src/
│ ├── assets/
│ ├── content/
│ │ └── docs/
│ └── content.config.ts
├── astro.config.mjs
├── package.json
└── tsconfig.json

Starlight looks for .md or .mdx files in the src/content/docs/ directory. Each file is exposed as a route based on its file name.

Images can be added to src/assets/ and embedded in Markdown with a relative link.

Static assets, like favicons, can be placed in the public/ directory.

🧞 Commands

All commands are run from the root of the project, from a terminal:

Command Action
npm install Installs dependencies
npm run dev Starts local dev server at localhost:4321
npm run build Build your production site to ./dist/
npm run preview Preview your build locally, before deploying
npm run astro ... Run CLI commands like astro add, astro check
